SCPM Construction Accounting

About

Structure defeats chaos.

Every margin problem in construction is ultimately a structure problem. That conviction is where this company, the framework, and both products come from.

Why

Margin doesn't vanish. It leaks.

General contractors don't lose margin in one dramatic moment. They lose it quietly — an unlogged change, a sub invoice nobody reconciled, a WIP schedule assembled in a spreadsheet three weeks after the fact, a closeout that dragged for months. By the time the damage shows up in the financials, it's already history.

The industry's answer has been more tools: one app for the field, one for estimating, one for accounting, spreadsheets in between, and email holding it all together. Every handoff between systems is a place where money leaks.

We took the opposite approach: put structure where the money actually moves — the books — and build outward from there.

Who

Conquest Consultants

Conquest Consultants is a consulting practice that fixes the structural problems eroding general-contractor margin. The work came first: real GC firms, real projects, real margin recovered by installing operational discipline — not by buying more software.

Out of that field work came the Systematic Construction Project Management™ (SCPM) Framework: a codified way of running a construction business across its five operational areas — Executive, Preconstruction, Project Management, Field Execution, and Financial.

The software followed the framework, not the other way around. You're not buying a database with a construction skin. You're installing an operating discipline.

The framework

Evaluate. Recommend. Educate. Monitor.

The SCPM Framework works in four phases, and the software embodies each one:

  1. 01

    Evaluate

Diagnose where structure is missing — in the product, that's provable books, drill-through reporting, and job-cost truth per cost code.

  2. 02

    Recommend

Surface the specific gap and the specific fix — insight cards, compliance holds, and alerts that name the job and the number driving them.

  3. 03

    Educate

Make the disciplined path the easy path — guided close steps, plain-English report narratives, an assistant that explains what the engine computed.

  4. 04

    Monitor

Keep watch continuously — nightly re-proof of the ledger, live WIP between closes, an executive briefing every morning.

What we build

Two products. One source of truth.

  • WIP and cost-to-complete, each one click – the number your surety wants and the one your PMs want
  • AIA G702/G703 billing, retainage, and certified payroll – construction-native, not a bolt-on
  • Your QuickBooks or Sage file migrates with AI in an afternoon – and it ties out, provably

SCPM Project

Construction management on the same framework — CRM, estimating, scheduling, field execution, daily logs, RFIs, submittals, punch lists — with SCPM Construction Accounting fully built into its base. Not a separate purchase or a connected app: the same accounting engine sold on this site, running underneath SCPM Project from day one.

  • Every department — Marketing, Design, Estimating, Operations, Accounting — in one login
  • The SCPM Health Score, guided workflows, and an executive dashboard built for instant answers
  • No modules or feature tiers — every organization runs the full suite; pricing scales with company size only
SCPM Project — A deliberate force in a stormy industry

Full-featured by design. Neither product is sold in modules or feature tiers — every organization gets the complete system from day one. Pricing scales with company size, never with which features you're allowed to use.

Who it's for

Built for the contractors the big platforms skip.

SCPM Construction Accounting is built for US commercial general contractors doing $5M–$100M+ per legal entity — and, with the multi-company layer, contractor groups running several related companies at $5M–$200M+ combined. The buyer at the small end is an owner or principal acting as their own CFO; at the group end, CFO and controller teams.

That's the segment the enterprise platforms quote six figures to serve and the small-business ledgers were never built for. We think it deserves better than either.
